Effective Press Release
Writing
Establishing a relationship with the
media is another way to generate plenty of quality visitors to your
website. Having a story appear in your local paper, trade journal or
even on television, is like an endorsement of you and your business.
If you haven't sent out a press release
yet, now's the time get started building that important relationship with the media.
Effective press release writing is a great place to start.
A press release is a new story that
requires a different style from your regular business writing. If you
sound like an ad, the editor will just toss your press release aside. At
the same time, you need to grab his attention. If your story is not
immediately of interest, the editor will just keep sifting through the
hundreds of releases that have been submitted. Don't let your press
release get lost in the shuffle.
